Seattle Opera Debut
In her debut appearance at Seattle Opera, Ms. Lianna Haroutounian will star as Madama Butterfly on August 5, 9, 13, 18 with Alexey Dolgov as Pinkerton, Weston Hurt as Sharpless, Rene Rapier as Suzuki, etc. Ms. Haroutounian received critical acclaim for her role as Cio-Cio-San most recently in Hamburg and San Francisco. Georgia Rowe, The Mercury News, wrote in her review that the Armenian soprano created a “Butterfly” for the ages.
